The CMRS – Makarska (Croatian Mountain Rescue Service – Makarska) house is located in the heart of the mountain Biokovo. The house is of strategic importance for the CMRS – Makarska and visitors of the Biokovo Nature Park. Its primary purpose is to serve as a central station for providing rescue and first aid services to the growing number of visitors of the mountain Biokovo. Various training courses for members of the CMRS – Makarska and other CMRS stations from across the state will be held there.

Its completely wooden structure will be built offsite and then transferred to a plot of land for final installation with a minimal terrain intervention. With carefully selected materials and the final color, its appearance would fit imperceptibly into the rough nature.
